Seams are annoying. Taryn at Calico Radio designed the Edinburgh sweater to be completely seamless – worked from neck to tail with a single piece of yarn. No sewing up at the end.
It’s a beginner pattern with six sizes, and the raglan construction makes it adaptable to different dog shapes without a lot of math.
How it’s built
Worked from the neck down using raglan increases. One continuous piece of yarn, no seams. The pattern includes a detailed measurement table for all six sizes, which makes it easier to pick the right starting size for your dog.
Raglan construction is forgiving. If your dog is between sizes, you have some flexibility to adjust as you go.

- Yarn: Worsted weight / number 4 yarn
